seven worlds

In December and January, Neil Finn (Crowded House) reunited  with the core band from his 2001 Seven Worlds Collide project with additional special guests to create a new album at Roundhead studios in Auckland, New Zealand. Guests included Radiohead’s Phil Selway and Ed O’Brien, guitarist Johnny Marr, Soul Coughing’s Sebastian Steinberg, Lisa Germano, Wilco members Jeff Tweedy, John Stirratt, Glenn Kotche and Pat Sansone, KT Tunstall, as well as NZ musicians Liam Finn, Don McGlashan and Bic Runga. All proceeds from this recording will go to support Oxfam International.

While recording, the group also performed a couple of casual and intimate live performances at The Powerstation, Mt Eden Road, Auckland, NZ.

wilcoworld launches passenger side

We've recently announced the launch of "Passenger Side", the Wilco on-line ride board and a way to address both the rising costs of fuel and the energy use involved in touring. While reducing the number of vehicles the band utilizes, recycling, and etc. are all great things, the band only has a few vehicles on the road at a time, while fans attending any one gig may have thousands. So what better way for you to help reduce costs, consumption and potentially make new friends than to share a ride with other fans in your area?  We're working on making some improvements and will be reactivating the service again shortly.
