Farm Aid works with local, regional and national organizations to promote fair farm policies and grassroots organizing campaigns designed to defend and bolster family farm agriculture. This year Farm Aid has joined with hundreds of organizations across the country on the Just Label It campaign to call on the Food and Drug Administration to mandate the labeling of genetically engineered foods in the United States.
Labeling GE ingredients will let you decide what kind of food we eat and feed our families. Labeling GE foods will help family farmers who do not plant GE seeds to have a stronger market for selling their goods. We all have a right to know what we’re eating.
