In the recent Don Quixote Project Jeff Tweedy, Wilco HQ, Out of Print Clothing & Veer joined forces to have some fun and help out a good cause. Jeff selected a t-shirt design from one of his favorite books, Don Quixote, and contestants submitted designs to pair up on the back of the tee. The public voted finalists and Jeff selected the winner.
The shirts were then sold complete with a copy of The Whole Love on CD and all proceeds went to 826 National, the non-profit dedicated to teaching kids to read and write. Well, the numbers are in and the Don Quixotte Project raised roughly $4,000 for 826 National. Not bad at all, thank you all who participated.
