The floating pine needles
On a tiny green pond
Look a little like Chinese
I take a picture with my phone
Translate it at home
And I really think it might read
“Don’t say love
When it’s not love at all
Don’t call it love
When it’s not love”
I’m trying to crack a code
Everywhere I go
Waiting for some wisdom to appear
So I can say it loud
Call everybody out
Straight into the mirror
“Don’t say love
When it’s not love at all
Don’t call it love
When it’s not love”
I miss it’s when it’s dancing right in my face
Why can’t I feel you need me when we embrace
A little less pulse
You keep pushing
It’s a short shot
A short shot from here
